That's a fair perspective, and the people that have been running the show for the last 40 years are Boomers from the Right and the Left. Clinton = Boomer, Bush Jr. = Boomer, Obama = Boomer, Trump = Boomer, Biden = Boomer.

Pretty much covers the most expansionary epoch in the history of the United States. Reagan and Bush Sr. kicked it all off, but the Boomers racked up the debt bomb we're sitting on.
